I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a PhD in Social Work and over 20 years of practice experience.
I use a person-centered approach to counseling and supervision.
My areas of specialization include trauma-based practice, neuro-science-based interventions, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Extensive experience in counseling and therapy, supervision, and social work education.
Expert in trauma-informed practice to work with trauma-exposed at-risk children, individuals, and families.
Post-doctoral fellowship at the Duke University National Center for Child Traumatic Stress.
Trained as Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) practitioner, an evidenced-based treatment for complex trauma.

I am passionate about helping my clients and supervisees find real-world solutions that work. My approach can best be described as person-centered, supportive, and strength-based. Since there is no one-size fits all, I tailor my practice to the unique situation of each individual person.
